Cubex³ / Legal
Last updated: 29 August 2026 Applies to: the CUBEX³ mobile app and the CUBEX³ website.
CUBEX³ is published by G-ynthetic Labs ("we"). This policy describes what the app does with information about you. It is written to match what the software actually does; where it says we do not collect something, there is no code in the app that collects it.
We have no servers, and we receive nothing about you.
CUBEX³ runs entirely on your device. There is no account to create, no sign-in, nothing to sync, and no way for us to see how you play. Your profiles and your campaign are stored on your phone and never leave it.
One thing in the app does transmit: the advertisement. It is served by Google AdMob, and section 1 describes exactly what that involves. That is the whole of it.
We operate no server for CUBEX³, hold no database, and have no account system. There is no request the app can make to us, because there is nothing for it to make a request to. We cannot identify you, cannot see your games, and could not produce a record about you if you asked for one, because none exists.
Your commander profiles, their experience, your campaign progress, your chosen army and your settings are written to your device's local storage by the app. That data never leaves the phone. We cannot read it, and deleting it is entirely under your control — see section 4.
The app shows one banner advertisement, served by Google AdMob. This is the only component in the app that sends anything anywhere, and it is the reason this section is worded carefully rather than absolutely.
To serve that banner, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (AAID) | Identifies the device to the ad network, and lets you reset or limit it |
| Coarse IP-derived location, device and OS type | Selects an ad that can be shown in your country and renders correctly |
| Ad interaction events (impression, click) | Counts what was shown, and detects fraudulent traffic |
We never receive any of it. It goes from your device to Google. We see an aggregate earnings figure and nothing that identifies a person.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, a consent form appears before any ad loads, presented through Google's User Messaging Platform. You choose there whether your data may be used for personalised ads. Declining is a real choice: you keep the complete game and see non-personalised ads instead. You can reopen that choice at any time from the app's account panel.
You can also limit ad tracking device-wide in Android Settings — Privacy — Ads, which lets you reset or delete your advertising ID independently of us.
Google's own handling of this data is described at <https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites>.
We want to be specific rather than reassuring:
in to. Nothing you do is associated with an identity.
reports how you play, what you tap, how long you play, or when. The ad SDK described above sees that an ad was shown; it does not see your game.
ad SDK, as described above. We never receive it and never store it.
two Android permissions: INTERNET, and the advertising-ID permission required by the ad SDK (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID). No others.
automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
personalised ads can amount to sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising as US state privacy law uses that term — see section 5 for how to opt out.
separate self-play pipeline that never touches players' games.
Under the GDPR and equivalent laws, the only processing that involves us at all is advertising, and our legal basis for it is consent, asked for before any ad loads and withdrawable at any time.
We hold no personal data of our own, so there is nothing else to have a basis for. We do not rely on legitimate interests for advertising, and we do not process special categories of personal data at all.
Because everything lives on your device, deletion is immediate and entirely in your hands. There is no request to send us and no waiting period.
profile, campaign and setting the app has stored.
We hold nothing to delete on our side. Full instructions are at https://g-ynthetic-labs.com/cubex3/privacy/delete.
To reset the advertising identifier Google holds, use Android Settings — Privacy — Ads. That identifier is Google's, not ours, and this is the control that governs it.
Wherever you live, you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form.
In our case the honest answer to all of them is the same: we hold no data about you, so there is nothing to produce, correct, or erase. We will say so in writing if you ask. Email G-ynthetic-Labs@proton.me and we respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:
or sharing. We never sell. To opt out of sharing for behavioural advertising, use either the in-app privacy choices or Android Settings — Privacy — Ads to limit or reset your advertising ID. Emailing us works too and we will confirm.
Switzerland, and elsewhere:** the equivalent local rights, handled through the same route.
CUBEX³ is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or under the higher age set by local law where that applies. Since we collect nothing from anyone, this is a statement about the ad SDK: the app is rated for a general audience aged 13 and over, and is not served through Google Play's Families programme.
We hold no data about you, which removes the largest category of risk outright: there is no database of ours to breach.
The data on your device is protected by Android's own application sandbox, which prevents other apps from reading it. Anything the app fetches over the network is encrypted with TLS.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
If we change this policy in a way that affects what is collected or why, we will update the date above and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
In particular, if a future version adds optional accounts or cloud sync, that is exactly such a change: it will be announced, it will be optional, and this policy will be rewritten before it ships.
